Cenforce

Cenforce is one of the cheapest Viagra alternatives on the market.

When you order a 10-month supply, you can get Cenforce tablets for less than 50 cents per dose. This is nearly 93% cheaper than the cost of Viagra despite having the same active ingredient, and the same dose.

With that said, there are some significant downsides to using Cenforce instead of Viagra that make it hard to recommend this drug in good faith. In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to know about Cenforce to make an informed decision about whether or not the low cost is worth the risk.

We’ll cover the safety considerations of Cenforce and other sildenafil tablets, the different dosages and forms available, and highlight some of the warnings the manufacturer has been flagged for by the FDA.

What is Cenforce?

The active ingredient in Cenforce is sildenafil citrate — which is the same ingredient in the brand name erectile dysfunction drug, Viagra. This is also the active ingredient in a variety of other medications, including Kamagra, Fildena, Revatio, and more.

Cenforce works by dilating the arteries supplying blood to the penis, which allows more blood to flow into the erectile tissue to produce an erection. This medication has been proven to support healthy erection in men with mild to severe forms of erectile dysfunction. It helps men achieve and maintain an erection longer and increases the firmness and rigidity of an erection.

What’s the Dose of Cenforce?

Cenforce comes in several dosages and three additional formats (Cenforce Professional, Cenforce Soft, and Cenforce FM).

Here are all the dosages available in the Cenforce line of medications:

  • Cenforce 25 mg — cheapest option
  • Cenforce 50 mg — best starting dose
  • Cenforce 100 mg — most popular
  • Cenforce 120 mg — not recommended
  • Cenforce 150 mg — not recommended
  • Cenforce 200 mg — not recommended
  • Cenforce Professional (100 mg) — fastest onset of effects
  • Cenforce Soft (100 mg) — chewable version
  • Cenforce FM (100 mg) — designed for women (not recommended)

Cenforce 25 mg, 50 mg, & 100 mg

The first three doses of Cenforce match the doses of Viagra and most other sildenafil tablets. These are the dosages that have the most testing and are the least likely to produce side effects.

If you’re going to use Cenforce, it’s recommended you choose from these strengths, as well as the Cenforce Professional (100 mg), Cenforce Soft (100 mg), and Cenforce FM (100 mg).

Cenforce 120 mg, 150 mg, & 200 mg

The highest strength of the medication is 200 mg per tablet — which is double the dose of the strongest Viagra tablet. This isn’t necessarily a good thing. Higher strengths have more of an effect but also come with a higher risk of side effects.

Viagra has gone through several rounds of testing involving thousands of different patients. The highest dose, 100 mg, was found to be more than enough of a dose for the vast majority of men in the trials. Most men use the 50 mg tablet without any issues.

The 120, 150, and 200 mg Cenforce tablets are overkill and we recommend you avoid these versions. Only a very small percentage of men will need a higher dose than the standard 100 mg dose (with a doctor’s approval).

Cenforce Professional (100 mg)

This version is the same as the 100 mg Cenforce tablet but comes with a fast-dissolving sublingual tablet. You can hold this tablet under the tongue for more rapid absorption, and faster onset of effects.

These tablets will start prodicint results within about 15 minutes of taking it in the sublingual form. The downside is that the medication has a very disagreeable flavor while it’s dissolving in the mouth.

Cenforce Soft (100 mg)

This is a chewable version of Cenforce, which makes it easier to use for people who don’t like taking tablets and offers a mildly faster onset of effects compared to the regular 100 mg tablet.

This is a novelty product that doesn’t really offer much benefit to the normal Cenforce tablets. Sildenafil tablets are already very small and easy to swallow — so making them in a cheable form isn’t really necessary.

Cenforce FM (100 mg)

This is the female version of Cenforce — at least, that’s how it’s advertised. It contains the exact same ingredients as the 100 mg Cenforce tablet but comes in a pink tablet.

This tablet is marketed as a way to increase sexual pleasure and orgasm in women by improving blood flow to the clitoris.

The active ingredient, sildenafil, has not been approved for use in women in the United States — and there’s a good reason for this.

Sildenafil simply doesn’t offer any advantages to women. Studies on the use of Viagra in women found the drug only improved sexual pleasure in 20% of women [1]. The women that did find improvement noted only a marginal difference.

The risks that come with using Viagra or other forms of sildenafil (including Cenforce) outweigh the benefits — which is why the drug was never approved for use in women.

Women should avoid using Cenforce FM — however, ment looking to improve their erection can use this version of the drug in the same way as any other Cenforce 100 mg tablet. There is no difference aside from the name and color of these pills.

Cenforce Safety & Side Effects

Cenforce 25, 50, and 100 mg tablets have identical ingredients to Viagra, aside from a few differences in the fillers and binding agents used. This means these tablets bring the same potential for side effects as Viagra at each dosage.

The manufacturer of Viagra, Pfizer, spent a great deal of time and money exploring the safety of their drug before it was released to the public [2, 3]. The incidence and severity of side effects for this drug are well known as a result of these tests (results below).

Side Effects of 25, 50, and 100 mg sildenafil tablets include:

  • Headaches
  • Flushing
  • Indigestion
  • Vision Loss
  • Nasal Congestion
  • Back Pain
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Rash
  • Muscle Pain

Tthe higher dosages of Cenforce tablets (120, 150, and 200 mg), as well as the chewable (soft), female (FM), and sublingual (professional) versions of the drug have not gone through any of this testing. The safety profiles for these versions is not well-known and should be avoided until further testing can prove they’re safe.

Additionally, the manufacturer of Cenforce (Centurion Laboratories), has been flagged for not following safe manufacrutine processes. This brings added safety risks. Adulterants, contaminants, and inaccurate dosing of these medications are possible, all of which could make these drugs dangerous.

Certain conditions and medications could make Cenforce even more dangerous — including blood pressure medications, other erectile dysfunction medications, CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers, nutrates,

How Much Does Cenforce Cost?

Cenforce is cheap. You can pick up a pack of 90 tablets (3-month supply) of the 25 mg tablets for $65. That works out to around 72 cents per dose.

The stronger Cenforce tablets are more expensive depending on the strength of the tablets — costing $71.00 (50 mg tablets), $83 (100 mg tablets), $88.00 (120 mg tablets), $96 (150 mg tablets), and $110 (200 mg tablets).

The Cenforce Professional starts at $84 (90 tablets), the Softchew Cenforce starts at $84 (90 tablets), and Cenforce FM (100 mg) starts at $84 for the same 90-tablet supply.

The larger your order, the better the deal for Cenforce.

Who Makes Cenforce?

This generic sildenafil tablet is manufactured by Centurion Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. — an Indian pharmaceutical manufacturer specializing in generic medicines.

This company also makes a wide range of other common drugs, including:

  • Verapamil
  • Atorvastatin
  • Paracetamol
  • Erythromycin
  • Ketoconazole
  • Rifampicin
  • Acyclovir
  • Finasteride
  • Tadalafil
  • Avanafil

Why We Recommend You Avoid Cenforce

Cenforce is one of the cheaper alternatives to Viagra. In theory, this medication has the same set of benefits and risks, as the drug is made from the exact same ingredients and uses the same dosages.

However, mid-2019 the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning against the company for violating several Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations for several of its products.

The letter outlines the following violations:

  • Critical documents, including quality control reports, were found in the trash
  • Quality control documents were pre-signed before the tests were conducted
  • Sensitive production and quality testing equipment lacked essential security features that make sure only authorized personnel can make changes
  • No written procedures were found documenting the cleaning and maintenance of core equipment

None of these issues are minor for a company making prescription medications that could pose a serious risk to those using them if the drug is not completely free from contaminants, and produced with highly accurate dosing.

These problems were only reported a year ago, which makes us skeptical about the manufacturing integrity of the company. Based on these reports, we do not recommend this company as a source for sildenafil or tadalafil tablets.

Despite the low cost, we recommend you avoid this brand and order from a manufacturer that meets the strict, but essential CGMP standards put in place by the FDA and other regulatory bodies.

Improper dosing of sildenafil or contamination with adulterants could lead to a serious risk to your health. Even in a best-case scenario, a problem with these medications could result in ineffective tablets, or negative side effects like indigestion, cramping, or headache.

Cenforce Alternatives

Cenforce is just one of many sildenafil tablets available. Choosing to avoid this brand will have no impact on your ability to find ED medications within your budget and locale.

Here are some of the best alternatives to consider instead of Cenforce:

  • Viagra — brand name sildenafil made by Pfizer
  • Kamagra — cheap, generic sildenafil made by Ajanta (banned in the US)
  • Fildena — cheap, generic sildenafil made by Fortune Healthcare Pvt Ltd.
  • Filagra — another cheap, generic sildenafil option by Fortune Healthcare Pvt Ltd.

There are other medications that work through the same mechanism as Cenforce but use a different active ingredient.

A few non-sildenafil medications to consider include:

  • Cialis — brand name tadalafil made by Eli Lilly
  • Adcirca — brand name tadalafil made by Eli Lilly (off-label use)
  • Tadalista — cheap, generic tadalafil made by Fortune Healthcare Pvt Ltd.
  • Stendra — brand name avanafil made by Metuchen Pharmaceuticals
  • Levitra — brand name vardenafil made by Bayer
  • Staxyn — brand name vardenafil made by GlaxoSmithKline
  • Vivanza — brand name vardenafil made by Bayer
  • Mvix — brand name mirodenafil made by SK Group
  • Zydena — brand name udenafil made by Dong-A Pharmaceutical

Where to Buy Cenforce

Cenforce is only available online if you live in the United States or Europe. You’re unlikely to find it at your local pharmacy outside Asia or Africa.

We recommend you avoid Cenforce because of several known issues with the integrity of the manufacturer of this drug, as well as excessive and unproven dosages and forms of this medication.

Additionally, most of the online pharmacies selling these medications aren’t reputable or approved resellers in the US or Europe — which means there’s a chance your order will be stopped by customs on the way into the country.

As an alternative to Cenforce, we recommend checking out Fildena, Viagra, Cialis, or Filagra instead.
